Yes, I am a Trekkie

Not a full on, Starfleet uniform wearin', Con attendin' geek, but I watched a lot of Star Trek and two of my sisters loved Star Trek because they were totally into SF. I did go to a convention in Boston and had a lot of fun.

G4TV has a bunch of ads with Star Trek action figures doing the pitch. They're pretty funny. On the page with the video, there are a few other spots. I believe there are about four, or five.

This is Star Trek Cribs.

From youtube. Thanks to my sister Ann for sending a bunch of links, which made me realize, I should post this silliness at once.

Location Scouting

I'm the DP on one of seven teams making a short movie musical as part of Ripfest 8. Yesterday was our launch meeting and the formation of the production teams. I'm really looking forward to this because I've never shot a musical. Three of the teams are on the West coast and we all have the same theme.

We were given two really amazing locations, the interior is a warehouse full of vintage cars and the the exterior is an amazing historical farm. I really like the exterior location. In the warehouse I didn't really shoot anything I liked. Mostly informational snaps.
