Humans!! Ewwwwwww!

So this is what I did last Saturday for eighteen hours. I gaffed three TV spots for Dimassimo Advertising. Mr. D likes the spots. He's happy, I'm happy

These are pretty much picture locked, but the audio is temporary and the multiple rats effects are temporary as well.

These three spots were all done with Todd Broder as the Director, Matt Woolf as DP, me gaffing and Bengt Anderson Producing. All in one really long assed, hot, sweaty, 100 degree, eighteen hour day.

This weekend were doing a short film for Bengt. Luckily it's two days. I think it'll be a bit cooler too.

Mark Montgomery-- did Town Haul in South Carolina where Bengt was the AP for my crew. Woolf was the DP and Dragor was Cam Asst for another crew. Funny thing, I might be doing another job with Woolf as DP so I got curious about some of the other things he has done... googled him and here I am. So Bengt's short...?

Hi Mark!

Other than the last day being really long, it was a good shoot. Solid script, Bengt knows what he wants, how to get it and he put together a good team. It also helps that we all know each other and have worked together a lot, so the slack can be taken up if needed.

Matt's a great DP, is good at communicating and is open to suggestion. He's doing Growing Up Gotti right now. Even though his cat was killed on the second day of the shoot he stayed present and was still bright and cheery even at hour 19 of the last day.

It's going to be a good short in look and content. There's some stuff that's pretty funny.

This crew is one of a small group of people that I'll Gaff or DP for, for little or no money because they give me work, pass my name on and have helped me out a great deal. They believe in me and I believe in them.

I've only been here in NYC for a little over a year, but with their help and some others, I'm making my way upward as a freelance DP.

Thanks Mark. Keep reading, I'll be updating in the next day or two, gotta make some time.

I'm aspiring to be shooting commercials and features on good ole film.

I do travel, as does my camera, lighting, dolly and steel track package :~) .
