High Wire act

I've been a member of the Cinematographer's Mailing List on and off since about 1999, or 2000. I got an cool link from an interesting thread about how electricity is portrayed in movies as opposed to how it really looks and behaves in real life. Here is an interesting link about guys who service high tension lines. And, yes, there are crackling bolts of electricity, but they're relatively small.

Pretty cool and really dangerous.
