Night

I'm in a night photography mood tonight. I'm too damn lazy to actually go out, but luckily, I do have a few pix from last month when I made my intrepid trek across the 59th Street Bridge a.k.a. the Queensboro Bridge. I was ready to fight, face down big killaz, thugz and murderers. Instead, I came face to face with cyclists, joggers and a granny with her folding shopping cart. Whew!

I could have TOTALLY kicked her ass.

I love the images, but I'm the only one allowed to do tight closeups of fences.

The fences called to me and commanded me to make these photos.

And thank you. I had a lot of fun shooting them. It should have only taken me about twenty minutes to cross the bridge, I think I was on there for over an hour and a half.

I've heard the command as well. The last two are the best.

Thank-ee.

I like the alien tennis court, the last one. I'm going to post a few more photos later today. I want to figure out how to do online albums, that way I can post some teaser photos and then people can go and look at an album chock full o' pix.

I'd like to go back and shoot 4x5, or 8x10. But maybe I'll just go back and shoot with my little LX1.

The last two are probably the strongest, but I like the other, since they give a sense of place and set the tone for the longer story that I didn't write.
